Chaos or comfort?

It is snowing now. A fluffy wet snow. It is even accumulating! But as I walk back to the dorm from work I can't get it out of my mind how comforting just watching snow is.

It happens every time I am coming back from work, walking through the snow, and no matter how my day was that day how ad or how good, I am always struck with the beautiful imagery in that frozen chryisiline H2O. This time was no different. I was standing there looking towards a light and all I could see was bright snow. Fliting fluttering, to and frow, this way and that, constant movement, unpredictable, each flake unique.

The world looks at snow and if frightened by the chaos, the unpredictability. They are afraid because they cannot KNOW where the flake is going. They can't understand snow in its' fullness. But as a Christian I KNOW that God KNOWS where the snow came from, where it is going, what it looks like, and WHY it is. How comforting! To know that God even understands snow. To know that God even understands me. I am not much better then snow but God KNOWS ME!! He knows where I have been, where I am going, what I look like, and WHY I am. I am unique in God and I have a purpose in God. I just need to fall to the best of my abilities, and trust in God to lead.

Shake that bush!

Well it is Spirit Week on campus, and no I don't mean the week that the Old Main ghosts come out (That is in the Spring). What I mean is that it is the only time of the year that I have trouble standing out. At this time of the year I need to try extra hard to stick out like a sore thumb. So for the first day(Super hero day) I went as shake that bush.
No don't worry you did not miss a 90's TV show starring a bush, or a b-movie that had a worse than usual plot, I mad it up.

I dressed up in my guili (We are going to spell it THAT way today) suit and ran around scarring people, and helping people give blood. It is so much fun to
walk around and see people give the double take. One time as I was passing a group I heard them say "Lets have our picture take by some random person" Then she turned around, jumped, gasped and said "Well that certainly is random"

Here is a pic:
